Responsibilities
Prepare annual marketing plan to budget, in consultation with the Director of Marketing & Communication, Director of Sales, HODs, and the General Manager. Coordinates with Marketing team, Operations, Food & Beverage and Sales teams to execute promotions and campaigns targeting potential customers and in-house guests with promotions that drive incremental revenue to the hotel. Acts as the liaison between the marketing department and the social media agency on the tactical advertising campaigns' creative and media plans, including food and beverage promotions, rooms promotions, SPA promotions, wedding promotions, and conferences and events promotions. Coordinates with purchasing department and oversees the production of all the marketing collaterals. Constantly reviews hotel website and OTA channels to ensure content and library of images are updated and correct. Executes email marketing, and display advertising as needed. Verifies all advertising for the hotel in offline channels and digital channels is in alignment with brand voice and maintains consistency across all channels. Responsible for the photography and images of hotel across all departments. This includes photo shooting, styling, and editing of all hotel photos (internal/external building, hotel outlets, rooms, suits, SPA, Club Lounge, Winter Garden, summer terrace, indoor and outdoor pool).
Social Media Content Management
Plans social media engagement and content calendar along with the Director of Marketing & Communication and social media agency. Develops and executes promotions campaigns for F&B, weddings, spas, rooms, and conferences through relevant digital and social media channels. Engages in proactive online reputation management by surfacing relevant guest comments (positive or negative) in social media channels and responding accordingly. Does social media stories and reels including coverage, editing, and uploading of content online.
Public Relations and Visual Asset Management (photos and videos)
Maintains a comprehensive list of local media contracts, with particular emphasis on food critics, influencers, and bloggers. Enable all press releases for property events, promotions, and outlets. Manages the execution of hotel-sponsored events, community/government relations activities, and press promotional activities. Supports pull through of impactful PR strategy & activities to drive quality press coverage through media engagement, in alignment with communications objectives. Verifies the news clippings and other online, print, and social media mention reports are completed monthly for property distribution. Supports the co-ordination of photography for F&B advertising, collateral and public relations purposes between the hotel and the social media agency and the unit teams Manages photo shoots and video shoots for seasonal or festive promotions in coordination with unit teams.
Tracking and Reporting
Ensure monthly collection and collation of marketing campaign ROI reports both online and from hotel, agency work report, influencer campaign reports and analysis with the Director of Marketing and Communication.
Desired Experience
Excellent spoken and written communication skills in both Arabic and English Languages Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills Good working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube business accounts and analytic tools Working knowledge of design software – photoshop, illustrator and the likes Photography skills is a plus Working knowledge of MS office – Excel, Power Point Confident, amicable and ability to persuade and influence Self-starter with the ability to lead and own projects end to end Attention to detail and concern for accuracy Exposure to hospitality industry in previous work Excellent time management skills and multi-tasking ability Excellent team player skills
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, or any related field.
Work Experience
Minimum experience of 2 years in a hotel.
