Responsibilities
Reporting to the Regional Head of Compliance for the Americas and UK, the Manager for Assurance will perform various activities in support of the regional Compliance Program. Specifically, this role will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing local and regional Compliance Due Diligence requirements
- Supporting Compliance Due Diligence requirements for Procurement
- Developing annual Compliance Monitoring & Auditing Plans
- Developing Monitoring, Auditing and Due Diligence SOPs
- Assisting with the development of Compliance case studies
- Assisting with Compliance Risk Management Activities
- Assisting with Compliance Training for Investigations, Risk Management, and Third-Party oversight as necessary
- Performing Compliance Monitoring of Clinical, Medical Affairs, and Commercial activities
- Performing Compliance Reviews of Grants and Sponsorship Activities
- Conducting Compliance Monitoring and Auditing of Grants & Sponsorship Activities
- Conducting Field Rides with Commercial Personnel on a quarterly basis
- Reviewing T&E Reports for Commercial Personnel
- Conducting Due Diligence and supporting certain administrative requirements for the Modern Slavery Act Taskforce
- Assisting with and or conducting Compliance Investigations
- Preparing reports on Compliance Investigations for the global Investigations Committee
- Ensuring that corrective actions pursuant to Investigations are implemented and completed
- Acting as a Compliance Business Liaison the Clinical & Medical Affairs Teams
- Assisting the Regional Head of Compliance in other Program areas as may be necessary
Experience
- Successful candidates will have four (4) to seven (7) years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare industry, or consulting firms conducting investigations or audits. (Graduate degree attainment may be considered as the equivalent of one (1) to two (2) years of experience). Additionally, experience in global organizations is preferred.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Products.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree is the minimum educational requirement for this role.
- Masters degree or Juris Doctorate is preferred.
On-Site & Travel
- The role may require travel up to twenty-five percent (25%) of the time
