Job Description

Job Purpose:
As a Legal Associate at Tarjama&, you will support the organization by handling legal matters and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The role requires a solid understanding of legal principles, good research skills, and effective communication to interact with various stakeholders. 
Duties & Responsibilities:
Legal Research and Analysis: 


  • Conduct research on legal issues, statutes, regulations, and case law relevant to the organization's operations. 
  • Assist in analyzing research findings to provide actionable advice. 

Document Preparation and Review: 


  • Help prepare legal documents, contracts, agreements, and other correspondence. 
  • Review and revise documents to ensure compliance with legal standards and alignment with organizational objectives. 

Contract Management: 


  • Support the contract lifecycle by assisting in the review, negotiation, and finalization of contracts with clients, vendors, and third parties. 

Compliance and Risk Management: 


  • Ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements. 
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization. 
  • Contribute to compliance programs to meet legal requirements. 
  • Support due diligence investigations related to business transactions and identify legal risks. 

Litigation and Dispute Resolution: 


  • Collaborate with external legal counsel on litigation or disputes as needed. 
  • Assist in evidence gathering, preparation of legal arguments, and participation in court proceedings when required. 

Intellectual Property and Regulatory Filings: 


  • Provide legal guidance on matters such as intellectual property, including trademarks, patents, and copyrights. 
  • Help manage the organization’s intellectual property portfolio. 

Prepare and submit necessary legal documentation and regulatory filings. 
Education, Experience & Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Law.  
  • 1-3 years of experience in a legal role in a law firm, corporate legal department, or relevant legal environment.  
  • Strong knowledge of legal principles, contracts, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.  
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.  
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.  
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.  
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.  
  • Proficiency in legal research tools, document management systems, and office software.  
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
  • Arabic language is required.
