Job Brief:
An IT Architecture Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing IT architecture design, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and leading project management initiatives. This role involves supervising teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that IT projects are delivered efficiently and effectively while maintaining technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage Information Technology projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget
- Ensure that project deliverables meet established quality standards
- Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop and maintain project plans, including tasks, timelines, and resource allocation
- Directly assist in the development of a solutions architecture program, including departmental roadmaps and project portfolios for IT systems architecture.
- Communicate the architecture to stakeholders and collaborate with existing domain architects to formalize and adopt IT standards and procedure
- Manage activities related to solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation
- Ensure that solutions not only fit their specific purpose but also closely align with the technology solutions standards and guidelines
- Direct the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options, considering business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership
- Review the business context for solutions to company challenges, define the vision and requirements for the solution, recommend potential options (including RFIs, RFPs, or prototype development), select the most optimal option, and develop a roadmap for the selected solution
- Plan and design the structure of a technology solution.
