Job Description

Mission/Core of Purpose of the Job:

Develop and produce BIM and engineering products as per the tasks assigned by the Assistant Discipline Leads.


General


- Preparing and presenting technical reports to Senior Engineer.
- Cross-functional support to remaining organization departments, including Marketing, Commercial and Human Resources.


Standards


- Adhering to ISO Standards applied in the Firm and enforcing standards through the supply chain
- Uphold company standards of excellence and service, guaranteeing quality performance
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures to deliver consistent high-quality venue operations.


Technical


- Review technical documentation related to the project.
- Identify and prepare RFI’s for the project, with support from the engineers assigned to the project.
- Develop and deliver technical reports as needed.
- Attend technical/coordination meetings as needed.
- Ensure the modeling of 3D Models is in compliance with:
                     • Constructability / Engineering requirements
                     • Standards requirements (e.g.: QCS, Kaahrama, etc.)
                     • Project Requirements
                     • BIM Requirements (e.g.: BIM Execution Plan)
- Ensure the drafting of sheets is done in compliance with project standards.
- Prepare content libraries to be used (e.g.: Revit Families)
- Perform modelling tasks in the 3D Models which include both geometrical (3D objects)
- Perform data insertion tasks in the 3D Models (parameters/attributes).


Technology


- Challenge himself to find methods to improve the project delivery process, reduce project estimated
budgets and improve overall quality management and delivery of services.
Training & Performance Review


- Challenge Provide ongoing feedback, mentoring, advice and coaching to direct reports, supporting skill
development, continuous improvement, and increased competencies through an effective performance
management framework.


Supervisory / Leadership Tasks:


  • Support the Senior Engineer with any Engineering and Technical issues/coordination, such as solving clashes, raising design issues, proposing solutions for clashes/engineering problems, and requesting feedback from the Client team on technical/engineering matters.
  • Support Senior Engineer on the preparation of technical reports and Requests for Information (RFI’s).

Minimum Requirements:


  • Education: BSc in Structural Engineering.
  • Software Literacy: BIM tools, MS Office Suite, Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Civil 3D .
  •  Experience: 2- 5 Years
