Job Description

The Role: 


We are seeking a proactive Information Security Analyst to support our cybersecurity operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring security threats, assisting in risk assessments, and implementing security measures to protect company data and assets. This role offers a great opportunity to develop expertise in cybersecurity and IT security frameworks.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Monitor IT systems for security threats, vulnerabilities, and anomalies.
  • Assist in incident response efforts and security breach investigations.
  • Support the implementation of security policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in managing firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint security tools.
  • Perform security audits and vulnerability scans to ensure compliance.
  • Help manage user access controls and identity management processes.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to enhance system security and data protection.
  • Maintain documentation of security protocols, incidents, and mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in employee cybersecurity training and awareness programs.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in information security or cybersecurity.
  • Knowledge of network security, risk assessment, and compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
  • Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint security tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP (optional but preferred).
