Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Generalist located in Zarqa, Jordan. The Role will be responsible for managing HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and compliance. The role also involves developing and implementing HR policies, conducting training sessions, and supporting the overall HR strategy to enhance employee engagement and organizational performance.
Roles and Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding:
+ Develop and post job advertisements
+ Screen and interview candidates
+ Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations
+ Ensure smooth onboarding processes
Performance Management:
+ Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal systems
+ Provide support and training to managers on performance management processes
+ Monitor and evaluate employee performance
Employee Relations & HR Operations:
+ Address employee queries and concerns
+ Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies
+ Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes
+ Administer employee benefits and compensation packages
+ Maintain and update employee records in HRIS
+ Monitor attendance, leave, and absenteeism
+ Handle grievances and disciplinary procedures
Compliance and Policy Management:
+ Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
+ Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures
+ Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality
Training and Development:
+ Identify training needs and develop training programs
+ Organize and conduct training sessions and workshops
+ Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs
HR Strategy Support:
+ Contribute to the development of HR strategies and initiatives
+ Support organizational development and change management efforts
+ Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve HR processes and systems
Qualifications
Proficiency in HR software and G-Suite/MS Office Solid understanding of HR principles and employment laws Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team Attention to detail and accuracy Bachelor's in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a relevant field Manufacturing &/or FMCG experience is a plus. Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus* Experience of 4-6 years in human resources is preferred.
