Assists operations with investigations as required, responds to on-site ER/LR inquiries and issues (coaching, counselling, CBA interpretation, labour standards, grievances, etc.) liaising with HR Manager and / or Labour Relations team as required
Monitors, reports and analyzes attendance management metrics in accordance with established process.
Prepares letters for issuance related to attendance management. Provides reports and trending information related to attendance, makes recommendations related to attendance management process.
Manages employee leaves. Works with operations on timely return to work and ensures any required documentation associated with leaves is up to date and accurate
Creates, monitors and maintains metrics related to HR processes
Provides support to operations regarding employee engagement initiatives
Works to continuously improve processes and create efficiencies (recruitment, attendance management, employee engagement, etc.)
Qualifications
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
University Degree or College diploma in Human Resources or a related field
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Human Resources
Experience managing attendance
Previous experience in a hospitality or service provider environment is an asset
Ability to work effectively in situations involving rapid change, shifting priorities, and/or simultaneous demands
Ability to develop new and maintain existing relationships with stakeholders
