: Jordan-Amman The Health Data Officer works under the direct supervision of the Technical Officer for Health Information Systems. She/he is expected to perform his/her duties and responsibilities with the highest degree of efficiency and sound judgment. The incumbent coordinates activities in the designated areas but does not have direct supervisory or managerial responsibilities. In collaboration with the IT directorate at the Jordanian Ministry of Health (MOH), support the District Health Information Software version 2 (DHIS2) tool implementation according to the requirements under the project implemented at the WHO Country Office (WCO), achieving results such as: The Health Data Officer liaises with various partners both inside and outside WHO mainly coordinating DHIS2 data management activities. S/he equally will support the integration and standardization of data management activities and collaborate with partners on creating health facility profiles. Internally, the incumbent liaises with all units to ensure the requirements of the health facility profile are met and the data warehouse is effectively used by all the programs. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education Qualifications Professional Experience and knowledge - At least 3 years of experience in the design, implementation, and management of DHIS2 applications - At least 5 years of experience in the implementation and management of National Health Information Systems (NHIS).
