FLS Engineer Manager

Our guests’ safety and comfort always come first. Which is why we’re seeking out a master multi-tasker with the repair skills needed to keep our hotels safe and secure for our guests and employees.  Implement all needed actions to ensure hotel emergency procedures, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures are all in place.

Every day is different, but mostly we need you to

• Establish procedures to prevent/minimize safety risks and maintain audit reports and records on all safety incidents and implement system or procedure enhancement.
• Working with Department Heads to ensure regular risks are identified and risk assessments are conducted for each area. 
• Inform management of hazardous situations, emergencies or threats to the safety of guests, employees or hotel assets & ensure that the Fire Life Safety Calendar checks are conducted and recorded 
• Ensuring all Fire Life Safety Records and certificates are completed and maintained
• Working knowledge of safety local laws, OSHA requirements and fire codes and life safety codes.
• Train/educate employees on current safety issues to ensure compliance with all control policies and current safety regulations
• Certifications in safety and training and licensed as an Occupational Safety & Health Supervisor
• Certified CPR, First Aid instructor and training in law enforcement techniques desired.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills English are essential
• Ensure safety incidents in operational areas are reviewed and corrective measures implemented to prevent recurring incidents
