Job Description

Job Brief:

The Bulk SMS Product Officer will be responsible for managing and driving Umniah’s Bulk SMS, Application-to-Person messaging (A2P), and Enterprise Value Added Services (VAS) products portfolio. The role requires strategic vision, independent execution, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of SMS messaging technologies, business analytics, and customer engagement strategies. Responsibilities include identifying market needs, defining product roadmaps, managing partnerships, and ensuring revenue growth.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Define product strategy and roadmap for Bulk SMS, Application-to-Person (A2P) messaging, and Enterprise Value Added Services (VAS) products.
  • Build and implement strategies for penetrating the B2B market, driving share growth, and achieving annual product P&L targets.
  • Plan and execute Go To Market (GTM) activities for newly launched products, driving adoption through targeted marketing communication campaigns.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, engineering, and IT teams to develop and deliver high quality products and new features.
  • Identify customer needs, capture customer satisfaction bi-annually, and enhance the customer experience
  • Conduct market analysis and identify the targeted market segment.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with wholesale messaging providers and international carriers, ensuring alignment with market and customer requirements.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with industry best practices.
