Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Draftsman who has recently graduated with a diploma degree in drafting, engineering, or a related field. The ideal candidate will assist in creating technical drawings and plans under the guidance of senior designers and engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Drawing Creation:
- Assist in the preparation of detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software based on design specifications and instructions.
- Create accurate and clear technical drawings for various engineering or architectural projects, ensuring all drawings adhere to industry standards and company guidelines.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with senior draftsmen, designers, and engineers to understand project requirements and deliverables.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure that all design requirements are accurately captured in the drawings.
- Revisions and Updates:
- Make revisions to existing drawings as required, incorporating feedback from supervisors or clients.
- Update and maintain drawing records, ensuring that all revisions are documented and archived properly.
- Quality Assurance:
- Check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design standards.
- Assist in the review and correction of any discrepancies or errors in the drawings.
- Documentation:
- Organize and maintain drawing files, ensuring that all documents are easily accessible and up-to-date.
- Prepare drawing sets and documentation for submission to clients or regulatory bodies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Diploma degree in Engineeringor a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, CIVL3D or similar).
- Basic understanding of technical drawing principles and standards.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship experience in drafting or a related field is a plus, but not required.
- A basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts.
