The department of Service Operation Support located in Jordan, is part of a Global Service Operation providing services to customers in MENA. This department is responsible for planning of scheduled / unscheduled / CIM service activities.
The Dispatcher is, within the Planning Team at the Service Department, responsible for coordinating all tasks assigned to turbines with different priorities. Reporting to the Master Scheduler, the dispatcher is part of the Planning team that will work on all daily and short-term tasks, planning 100-150 turbines belonging to an Area. All planning, and scheduling tasks proceed according to Vestas’ policy and contracts, as well as local legal legislation.
Responsibilities
Prepare short-term plans for all turbines according to Vestas’ priorities and service contract liabilities Manage all resources (personnel, spares, consumables, tools, etc.) that are needed for every single task Coordinate all tasks according to capacity planning with short-term levelling (12 weeks) Create daily communication with the customer, share plans and act according to deviation within the day Create communication for technical and system vise processes with internal and global Vestas support departments when proceeding with planning tasks Follow technical, safety, and local legal training needs and planning, documentation, and certification of all technicians in the area Monitor the material safety stocks and site stock counts
Qualifications
Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar 2 years of work experience (preferred) Wind industry experience (preferred) Fluency in English (written and spoken) MS Excel and Power BI computer skills Salesforce knowledge (preferred)
