The Demand Planning Anaylst is an expert in demand planning that will use technology & analytics to provide fact-based baselines & demand plans that will support business planning and efficiencies.
A DAY IN THE LIFE …
Supporting Simplified MBPC by providing objectiveness and fact-based base lines using AI & statistical forecasting to enrich MBPC, that will help Categories/Clusters/OPCs to focus on customer and consumer needs. Piloting, Testing and Rolling out New AI tools & technologies to be integrated within MENA dynamics (New Product Forecast Tool, Price Elasticity Analysis …etc.). Long term demand planning & elevating best practices above categories/clusters (e.g. 20 month rolling forecast, LTDP by technology, AVC Reflection in line with category growth ..etc.). Provide visibility through demand packages to D&SP Community (FCDP variability, TBDF recommendations, MOSAIC/APO variance, …etc.). Responsible for dependent demand health check to trigger right signal to DSP community that will ensure on time availability of promo stocks. Centralizing Phase-In & Phase-Out reflection, Master data maintenance, MG1 alignment, DP grouping, long term sourcing changes reflection on APO …etc. Close coordination with finance team to move SKUs to discontinuation phase, plus maintaining an active base code list across categories.
Bachelor’s degree in business information technology, Business, Data Science, Actuarial science, Computer science, Programing, Statistics or Data Engineering. Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in Demand planning, or other streams within supply chain. Background in sales or trade marketing is a plus. Advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities. Proficient in data analysis, insights generation, and presentations. Knowledge of AI, Python, Power BI, and automation tools is essential. Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Arabic and English.
