About the Job
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Mid-Level Data Engineer with strong Python expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure that support various data-driven applications and analytics. This role requires a solid understanding of data engineering principles, proficiency in Python, and a collaborative mindset to work with cross-functional teams.
What you’ll do
- Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements and provide support for data extraction and transformation.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency throughout the data lifecycle.
- Work closely with engineering, analytics, and product teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Manage and optimize relational and NoSQL databases.
- Integrate data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and third-party systems.
- Design, implement, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Python and related technologies.
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or any IT related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in data engineering or a related field with a strong focus on Python development.
- Hands-on experience with ETL processes, data integration, and pipeline development.
- Proficiency in Python and related libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
- Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Experience with data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Apache Airflow) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
