Credit Clerk  - About the role responsibilities.


Under the direct supervision of the Credit Manager and within the limits of Bass policies and procedures, is responsible for overall delivery and collecting payment relate to account receivable and other receivable.


A little taste of your day-to-day


Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:


  • Make a list of all invoices received from city ledger.
  • Verify invoices before being delivered.
  • Deliver invoices and pick up payment on daily basis .
  • Ensure that payment picked up immediately and deposited to the F/O Cashier.
  • Post-dated check should be reported to the Credit Manager who then will store in the safe deposit box.
  • Provide a daily collector list and report the progress to the Credit Manager.
  • Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:

Invoice Management:


  • Maintain and organize a list of all invoices received from the city ledger.
  • Verify the accuracy of invoices before delivering them to clients or customers.

Payment Collection:


  • Deliver invoices and collect payments on a daily basis.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and deposit them with the Front Office (F/O) Cashier.
  • Handle post-dated checks by reporting them to the Credit Manager for secure storage in a safe deposit box.

Reporting:


  • Prepare and provide a daily collector list to track payments collected.
  • Report progress and any issues to the Credit Manager regularly.

Compliance and Procedures:


  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and credit guidelines.
  • Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and documented.

Special Projects:


  • Perform related duties and assist with special projects as assigned by the Credit Manager.

What we need from you


  • Previous experience in accounts receivable, credit, or a similar role is preferred in 5-star Hotel / Resort.
  • Familiarity with accounting software or systems used for invoicing and payment tracking.
  • Ability to verify and process invoices accurately
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of accounts receivable and payment processing.
  • Trustworthiness in handling cash, checks, and sensitive financial information.
