Job Description
The Contract and Planning Engineer will provide comprehensive support to our AAWDCP team in the contract development stage of the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract. The Contract and Planning Engineer will evaluate and review project documents and schedules and will assist the team in analyzing draft contractual, legal, and technical documents to confirm alignment with project objectives and owner’s requirements.
Responsibilities
 Participate in the review and evaluation of draft contractual, legal, and technical documents, providing detailed feedback so that they meet project requirements and compliance standards, and align with project objectives.
 Review and analyze project schedules in collaboration with project leadership and senior schedulers as needed, to confirm reasonableness and feasibility, identify potential delays, and recommend amendments and updates.
 Review and analyze moderate to complex data from studies and reports.
 Attend regular meetings with USAID/Jordan, MWI, and other government committees assigned for the project.
 Assist with the development and submission of deliverables associated with the project including technical reports/memos and presentations.
 Collaborate with project team members to prepare reports and presentations on findings and recommendations for management, clients, and stakeholders.
 Prepare documents in multiple formats in both Arabic and English that contain technical, commercial, and legal information.
 All outputs must adhere to company policy and quality standards and in alignment with contract requirements.

Minimum Qualifications
 Engineering degree with minimum of 10 years’ experience in contract management and scheduling within the water or infrastructure sectors.
 Proven expertise in reviewing draft contract documents and evaluating schedules.
 Good knowledge of contractual, legal, and technical documentation on large-scale infrastructure projects.
 Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
 Excellent analytical, communication, and critical thinking skills.
 Ability to provide clear, actionable feedback and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
 Proficiency in English language.
 Must be a Jordanian citizen or have legal work authorization to work in Jordan.
