As a Content Writer, you will be responsible for research and to define desired target audiences. You will also be responsible for creating, improving, and maintaining the content by editing, and proofreading current content to achieve dubizzle goals. You will share content to raise brand awareness and present products.
In this role, you will:
Content Creation and Management

• Create new content and update existing content on the website.
• Develop and manage content for social media platforms to enhance engagement and brand awareness.
• Proofread, edit, and translate content to ensure it is accurate and culturally relevant.
• Submit work to the manager for feedback and approval in a timely manner.
• Utilize industry best practices and familiarity with the organization's mission to inspire ideas and content.
• Draft, translate,  and edit press releases to promote dubizzle's initiatives and updates.
• Compose professional emails for internal and external communication.

Research and SEO

• Conduct thorough research on classifieds, automotive, and real estate topics using multiple credible sources.
• Understand the importance of keywords and their application; adhere to SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.
• Ensure that provided keywords are used at the appropriate density while maintaining natural readability.
• Coordinate with the SEO team to ensure content is 100% optimized and obtain final approval.
• Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results.

Content Consistency and Quality Assurance

• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone).
• Pay close attention to sentence structure and prepare well-structured drafts based on the provided template.
• Work with other teams to produce content that meets the aims and objectives of Dubizzle.
• Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and voice.

Collaboration and Communication

• Communicate and cooperate with the writing team, including the content manager, editors, and web publishers.
• Coordinate with other departments (e.g., marketing, design) to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
• Draft and edit internal and external emails to ensure clear and effective communication.

Analytics and Strategy

• Analyze content performance and make data-driven decisions to improve engagement and reach.
• Monitor social media trends and integrate them into the content strategy.
• Develop content strategies that align with marketing objectives and audience needs.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and adjust content strategies as necessary.

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day management tasks related to content writing as required.
• Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely publication.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.
• Provide support for ad hoc content projects and campaigns.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior writers or interns as needed.
• Draft and edit newsletters to keep the audience informed about dubizzle's latest news and offers.
• Prepare FAQs and help documents to support customer service efforts.
