Communications Specialist



The Communications Specialist is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the communication strategy, with a particular emphasis on internal and external communication, employee volunteerism, and corporate philanthropy programs.

Position:



As a Communications Specialist in the Corporate Affairs and Communications Department, your focus will be on:
Community Investment Strategy Development & Implementation – Lead the creation and execution of the community investment strategy, ensuring it aligns with JTI’s overarching objectives. Content Development – Create compelling content for JTI Jordan & Palestine across various platforms, including media releases, web content, and social media. This may also involve adapting global JTI content to suit local channels and audiences, securing earned media coverage. Channel Management & Media Relations – Manage JTI Jordan’s owned channels, such as Business TV, SRM, Meltwater, and Workplace. Handle media inquiries and coordinate the placement of content to enhance earned media visibility. Employee Volunteerism – Collaborate with internal stakeholders to coordinate the employee volunteerism program, including managing the engagement calendar and ensuring alignment with the company’s core values. Corporate Philanthropy – Implement the corporate philanthropy strategy by working closely with JTI Jordan partners to ensure the successful delivery of agreed-upon program objectives.

Requirements:



A university degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in communications management. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Exceptional command of the English language, with advanced writing and editing skills. Strong budget management capabilities.
