Job Description
Job Brief:
Responsible for managing GSM & Broadband consumer Products, including acquisition, collection, international, wholesale, products development, Handsets & roaming businesses, to achieve targets and ensure customer satisfaction. Additionally, oversee relationships with roaming partners, international carriers, and the wholesale market. Provide direction to the development team to ensure alignment with commercial and technical stakeholders, collaborating with commercial heads to execute the roadmap and deliver high-quality products to the market.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive the development and execution of innovative value propositions to strategically acquire new customers across designated consumer segments.
- Ensure that product owners fully manage and maintain consumer segments, driving alignment with overarching business goals.
- Lead the creation of comprehensive, end-to-end marketing strategies, ensuring seamless communication and execution across all business units.
- Oversee and strategically expand mobile sales channels, international carrier relationships, and indirect channels to meet business objectives.
- Set and lead the strategic direction for international and roaming services, negotiating complex agreements with key international carriers, roaming partners, and establishing long-term partnerships.
- Define and refine the end-to-end customer journey, ensuring superior customer experience by leveraging technical capabilities and optimizing product life cycles.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and market launch of high-impact commercial products and services, ensuring alignment with the commercial roadmap and market demands.
- Apply agile methodologies (Scrum) and lead cross-functional teams to deliver on project goals, from RFP through to implementation and UAT.
- Continuously enhance existing marketing campaigns and product profitability while accelerating time-to-market, ensuring optimal positioning, pricing, and distribution channels.
- Lead, review and optimize the customer experience Journey, identifying gaps, and driving implementation of corrective actions to sustain competitive advantage.
Leadership / Management
- Manage subordinates’ learning & development requirements and ensure that it is successfully delivered and provide related feedback to the management.
- Assign roles and workload distribution, set team objectives and conduct regular informal one-on-one meetings to deliver personalized feedback and provide support to attain goals
- Conduct formal performance evaluation process for the subordinates in order to optimize workplace productivity
- Participate in the recruitment, selection, evaluation process of new employees.
- Provide guidance and delegate responsibilities to subordinates to facilitate performing different tasks to support succession planning process
- Manage subordinates' administrational requirements
- Assure that all subordinates are following Umniah’s policies and procedures and highlight any violation for the code of conduct
- Manage economic, efficient and effective budget plan and control in alignment with the department and Umniah’s strategy.
- Ensure that employees are engaged and motivated through creating a respectful and trusting relationship with them and communicating Umniah values
- Demonstrate flexibility in management by accommodating individual employee needs such as adjustable schedules or remote work options
