The Business Development Center (BDC) is seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team. The BDM will be responsible for expanding BDC’s donor and partner portfolio, leading fundraising initiatives, developing funding proposals, and fostering strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with internal teams to drive business growth, ensure high-quality proposal development, and optimize donor engagement.Key Responsibilities:-Identify and secure funding opportunities from institutional donors, corporate sponsors, and private donors.-Develop and manage relationships with international donors, funding agencies, and key partners.-Promote department initiatives to attract financial support.-Lead proposal writing, ensuring timely submissions with well-structured budgets and strategic alignment.-Establish a proposal development calendar and maintain a proposal library for efficiency.-Ensure program development is data-driven and evidence-based.-Develop and execute strategies to grow the business and diversify revenue streams.-Identify new business opportunities and innovative solutions to expand funding potential.
Desired Skills & Experience:-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, International Development, or related field.-8+ years of experience in business development, fundraising, or donor relations.-Proven track record in securing funding from institutional donors and corporate sponsors.-Strong proposal writing, budget development, and negotiation skills.-Excellent stakeholder management and networking abilities.-Knowledge of donor compliance and reporting standards.
