The Role


The Learning and Development Assistant Manager will be responsible for designing, delivering, and managing the hotel's training programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and passion for training, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.


Key Responsibilities:


·Collaborate with managers to identify training needs and develop customized training programs for their team members.


·Conduct training sessions and workshops to build employees’ skills and knowledge required to perform their job duties effectively.


·Plan and implement company’s compliance training, general/core and Management Training.


·Certify and coach departmental trainers to maintain operational training quality and consistency.


·Maintain accurate records of employee training and development, and use this information to identify areas for improvement


·Develop and maintain relationships with industry associations and organizations to stay up-to-date with trends in hospitality training


·Organize and maintain trainees and interns, to further support community initiative, hotel schools, and support hotel’s recruitment needs.

  • 2-3 years of experience in a hospitality Learning & Development role.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Solid understanding of hotel operations.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
