King Hussein Cancer Center is seeking to hire the following vacancy:
Assistant Database Administrator
Responsibilities:
Develop of database tables, views, stored procedures, users, indexes, triggers and links when required. Installation, configuration and upgrading of all database server software and related products. Design and review of interfacing capabilities (database related) of existing systems. Reviewing, managing, and monitoring database security, integrity, and backup and restore procedures Troubleshoots database problems and implements corrective actions as per direct supervisor / senior DBA instructions. Writing operating manuals and providing training and support for database use Managing database access and permissions. Performs any related task as requested by the direct supervisor/senior DBA instructions. This job may require working variable shift hours as determined by the department's needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or any relevant field.
- Minimum One year of experience
- Internationally accredited certifications in databases administration, Analysis and designing tools (such as MCDBA, OCP/Developer, OCP/Database Administrator, or OCP/Designer) are preferred.
- Good knowledge in MSSQL DB administration. Oracle and MySQL DB administration is plus.
- Ability to work under pressure.
