MedNet Jordan is one of the leading managed care service organizations that caters to healthcare needs. We are currently seeking to hire Application Specialist – IT Department (on Hybrid working modules basis) with the following tasks and responsibilities:
Your Job
• Lead the end-to-end development of web applications, from conceptualization to deployment.
• Understand business requirements and translate it to application features.
• Collaborate with development team and other staff to design creative prototypes according to specifications.
• Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements.
• Perform quality assurance.
• Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to product team.
• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts. Prepare roster arrangements and ensure shifts are allotted to team members fairly and recommend creative solutions to motivate team members.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
• Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of recent experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting computing applications.
• Strong experience in web application development, covering the entire lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for debugging complex issues.
• Strong understanding of application integrations.
• Strong understanding and practical experience on handling and manipulating XMLs, Json files.
• In-depth proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Proven experience integrating RESTful services and APIs into web applications.
