Job Description
As an Administrative Accounting Representative at Tamatem, you will support the Accounting and Admin team in all day-to-day transactions, contributing to accurate results in monthly and yearly reports, and assisting with HR-related financial tasks.
Your role within Tamatem’s world:
- Maintain general ledger, including preparing journal entries, reconciliation, and closing books monthly.
- Prepare reports on accounting payables and receivables, record fixed assets, and calculate and record depreciation on a monthly basis.
- Perform accounts payable duties, such as preparing payments and arranging settlements in accordance with payment terms and instructions.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation. Update the bank account balance report daily and ensure sufficient funds are in the account.
- Register/book all incoming and outgoing transactions.
- Record daily sales and issue invoices/cash receipts.
- Prepare Sales Tax Endorsement.
- Manage employees’ social security registration and contributions.
- Handle employees' income tax calculations and submissions.
- Prepare employment letters, salary certificates, and other HR-related financial documents.
- Any other tasks assigned by superiors in the finance department or at the company level.
