• Evaluate and ensure that all work completed meets established quality standards and specifications.
• Follow up and oversee procurement processes for contracting encompassing; tender analysis, suppliers’ market research and embrace all activities within the procurement cycle.
• Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders, negotiate better payment terms with suppliers regularly.
• Ensure all procurement activities are following conditions and sections of contracts in respect of quantities qualities, SLAs and company’s need.
• Negotiate all elements of complex contracts with suppliers and ensure contracts are well-defined and clear described maximizing cost savings, improving service levels, and mitigating contractual risks.
• Oversee and monitor supplier performance and provide performance evaluation reports on monthly basis to Supply Chain Director and figure out solutions to improve supplier performance evaluation.
• Build up long term and trusted relations with current suppliers and search new reliable and high-quality suppliers.
• Locate vendors/suppliers of materials on continuous basis and conduct market visits regularly to evaluate vendors in order to determine product availability and terms of sales. Build good relations with suppliers to ensure best value, delivery schedules and quality.
• Follow up about warranties and make sure Company is compensated against warranty items.
• Ensure contracts are written with fully understandable terms and provide draft to be checked by Supply Chain Director and drafted by company legal section.
• Analyze spend data from various sources and recommend the best business decisions while following sourcing best practices. • Develop and manage projects deliverables.
• Own and lead the supplier interface and system updates to ensure all data is uploaded in the ERP.
• Conduct thorough analysis of the suppliers’ performance and contracts to identify any potential manipulation in the bill of material quantities, prices, specifications…etc.
• Drive continual improvement to cost productivity, total cost of ownership and total value proposition.
• Identify areas of risk and drive mitigation with subject matter experts within the organization.
