About the job Senior IT Support Analyst
Our client is a premier IT services and consulting firm dedicated to delivering outstanding IT solutions globally, with a strong emphasis on the oil and gas industry. With branches in 13 countries, we support clients in over 30 countries, providing a comprehensive suite of IT services.
We are currently looking for a Senior IT Support Analyst for one of their clients. This role will be based out of Iraq.
Job Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Support:
Manage and support various IT infrastructure towers, ensuring system performance and availability. - Rollout and Training:
Assist in the deployment of new systems and applications, conducting user training and support. - License Management:
Oversee software license management and maintenance, ensuring compliance and optimal usage. - Asset Management:
Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, facilitating tracking and reporting. - Planning and Coordination:
Support the planning and coordination of IT initiatives to ensure successful project delivery. - Server Room Activities:
Conduct physical installations and certifications for servers and network devices in the server room. - Identity Management:
Manage user accounts, including creation, suspension, and deletion of IDs and email accounts. - End User Support:
Provide comprehensive support to end users, resolving IT issues effectively.
Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) in an IT-related field (Required). - Experience:
1-3 years of experience as an IT Support Analyst (Preferred). - Industry Knowledge:
Familiarity with telecom, server, and desktop infrastructure in the Oil & Gas upstream sector (Preferred). - IT Operations Experience:
Required experience in IT operations and infrastructure support (Preferred). - Project Management Experience:
Preferred background in project management. - ITIL Framework:
Knowledge of ITIL processes with hands-on experience. - Technical Knowledge:
Understanding of IT infrastructure systems, networks, telecoms, Windows, and Linux technologies. - Support Experience:
Experience with computer software and hardware support, including servers and systems.
Work Schedule:
- Work for 3 months (7-days a week) followed by 1 month of leave, or 6 months of work followed by 1 month of leave.
- Company-sponsored air tickets will be provided during the leave month, but only the basic salary will be paid.
