- Lead the assigned sales team, providing coaching, mentorship, and motivation to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Develop and implement a territory-specific sales plan aligned with the broader commercial strategy set by the Commercial Manager.
- Establish clear sales objectives by creating quotas and sales plans for the assigned team.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
- Oversee the development of sales materials and presentations tailored to the needs of specific customer segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and exceeding their expectations.
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire new key clients across designated industry verticals.
- Manage and grow existing client relationships through effective account management and cross-selling of multiple products and logistics solutions.
- Monitor sales team performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement initiatives to enhance sales conversion rates and optimize sales team efficiency.
- Participate in the talent management process by supporting the development and training of the sales team.
- Regularly report sales performance metrics to the Commercial Manager.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures related to sales activities.
Job Responsibilities - Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business or any other field
- At least 7 years sales experience, preferably in related industry
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- CRM Proficiency is a plus
