The Position


In this role, you will contribute to building scientific understanding of Novo Nordisk’s GLP-marketed products in Diabetes and Obesity, sharing medical knowledge and clinical trial data with stakeholders. You will collaborate across functions to execute medical tactics aligned with the company's strategy and build relationships with KOLs and HCPs. Your responsibilities include training, evidence generation, strategic insights, scientific dialogue, and improving clinical care pathways, all while ensuring compliance with company policies.


Some of the key accountabilities:


  • Deliver internal medical training to functions like Sales and Marketing.
  • Collect KOL insights to identify gaps for clinical and outcomes research.
  • Provide input into KOL engagement and update medical/marketing strategies.
  • Plan and execute medical education activities, including congress symposia.
  • Engage with local Medical Associations to improve clinical care pathways.

Qualifications


  • Medical Doctor (most preferred), or Advanced Degree in Health Sciences (Pharmacy or Other)
  • Endocrinology or Internal Medicine post-graduate specialisation is a plus, or other recognized Medical Affairs certification
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical practice or pharmaceutical experience
  • Previous experience in diabetes and obesity or metabolic disease area preferred
  • Ability to transfer scientific content and value to both experts and non-medical audiences
  • Ability to build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong scientific mindset and critical thinking
  • Strong communication & presentation skills.
