Role Summary
The Product Manager - Cardiometabolic Line will play a critical role in driving JP’s growth within the Iraqi healthcare market. This role will focus on developing and executing strategic marketing plans, enhancing brand positioning, and driving market expansion for JP’s cardiometabolic portfolio. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, engage with key stakeholders and healthcare professionals, and ensure successful product launches. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's success while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of market research results, historical trends and business results, and Market needs/gaps.
- Tracks and analyses Brand/competitor performance, initiatives and their key growth drivers and initiates actions.
- Determines appropriate data sources and proactively provides analysis to address business issues and opportunities.
- Possesses an in-depth understanding of legal and regulatory standards/requirements, to influence product direction/brand awareness at various levels considering all stakeholders.
- Anticipates future issues, unforeseen changes in market conditions and implications of a given situation..
- Consistently implements marketing initiatives as defined in brand plans based on the guidance, he/she receives from Marketing Head in full compliance with Jamjoom Pharma SOPs.
- Participates in new product introductions through implementation of key programs, monitoring results and compares them Vs predefined KPIs.
- Provides the assumptions and supports the sales forecasting and financial evaluations (e.g., new business cases).
- Has skills to analyses and monitors promo budget Vs actual spending / brand/ business sector / channel and to report regularly to head of marketing & senior management.
- Has capabilities to work cross-functionally and cooperates with distinct functions in smooth and professional manner to drive the business and deliver the goals.
- Has the skills to support in sales force’ training & gives regular updates to the team.
- Has the capabilities to identify KOLs / develops local advocates .
- Has a successful record of achievements in new launches.
- Provides the tools, designs, and executes marketing initiatives that accelerate the enlisting of new products/ new launches.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy is a must.
- MBA or Certification in marketing is a plus.
- Good knowledge about digital marketing, digital channels, defining KPIs, reading & interpretation of analytics (dashboards/ data)
Experience:
- 3+ year experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare sector (Private & Tender business) & brand management.
- Excellent Knowledge about cardiometabolic therapeutic area & branded generics business model is a plus.
- Have good background about Iraq Market dynamics/trends, health care system, different business sectors/channels & regulations
