Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven On-Ground Sales Manager to drive business growth by identifying new potential customers, building relationships with wholesalers, and conducting market research. The ideal candidate will have hands-on sales experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of the consumer goods industry. This role requires frequent travel within assigned territories to engage retailers, distributors, and key market players.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and acquire new customers, wholesalers, and distributors to expand market reach.
- Conduct on-ground market research to assess customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers and wholesalers.
- Conduct regular visits to marketplaces, stores, and distribution centers to ensure product visibility and availability.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with potential buyers and partners.
- Provide feedback to the marketing and product teams based on customer insights and market trends.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
- Train and support field sales teams to improve sales performance and efficiency.
