Medical Representative

This position will be based in Erbil, Iraq. under the Diabetes and Rare Disease Business Unit. You will directly report to the Business Area Manager and will support RB area and covering cities in the north of Iraq.

The Position

As a Medical Representative for Diabetes and Rare Disease at Novo Nordisk, you will be responsible to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key decision-makers in the Diabetes and Rare Disease field.

Your main accountabilities will be:

• Promote and sell our Diabetes and Rare Disease products to healthcare providers, ensuring they have the information and resources they need to make informed decisions
• Develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve sales targets and drive business growth
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the Diabetes and Rare Disease fields and provide feedback to internal teams to support product improvement and innovation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and initiatives

Qualifications

As a Medical Representative Diabetes and Rare Disease, you need to have at least 1-2 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales, with a focus on cardiovascular products. Moreover, you need to have a Bachelor’s degree in Life Science or any other relevant field.

To be successful in this role:

• Strong knowledge of the cardiovascular market, including key competitors and industry trends
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with healthcare professionals
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Ability to work independently and manage territory effectively
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory
• Fluency in Arabic and English
