Job Description

The Head of Business Intelligence (BI) will lead the BI department, playing a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making and business innovation. This role is responsible for defining the BI strategy, managing data analytics operations, and delivering actionable insights that influence product development and organizational performance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Tableau and relational databases, with a proven ability to transform complex data into intuitive dashboards and impactful reports.


Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and execute the BI strategy to align with product and business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Identify and implement advanced analytics initiatives to drive business growth.

Data Analytics & Visualization
  • Oversee the development of Tableau dashboards and reports to provide clear, actionable insights.
  • Ensure data visualization aligns with business and product KPIs, enabling effective decision-making.
  • Continuously optimize Tableau dashboards for performance and usability.
  • Leverage relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle) to design and manage data pipelines supporting BI tools.
Data Management
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across all BI processes.
  • Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure seamless data integration and availability.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Work closely with product managers, and cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications for BI projects.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Team Leadership
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing BI team.
  • Promote professional development and continuous learning within the BI department.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet project timelines and business priorities.
