Our core philosophy is that better data leads to better decisions and that better decisions lead to better outcomes. iMMAP’s critical support to information value chains helps to solve operational and strategic challenges of our partners in both emergency and development contexts by enabling evidence-based decision-making for better outcomes.BackgroundRegistered in Iraq since 2011 with a presence in Erbil and Baghdad, iMMAP Inc. is implementing a project partnership with UNESCO aiming at operating, maintaining, training, and further developing the Education Management Information System (EMIS) for the Ministry of Education in Federal Iraq.Description of DutiesPart of the EMIS project team, the iMMAP Inc.’s Learning Officer will work under the direct supervision of the Project Manager. He/she coordinate closely with the project team to comprehensively document all system enhancements and application updates. This will include editing existing technical documentation, as well as the creation of new user guides and technical briefs. The Learning Officer will also be responsible for reviewing, enhancing, and developing training materials for MoE agents. The Learning Officer, in coordination with the Senior Software Engineer, will establish protocols and guidelines for the management of the HappyFox Help Desk to ensure appropriate ticketing management. He/she will conduct any other tasks as assign by the Project Manager to contribute to the success of the activities.Requirements Education An advanced university degree or equivalent experience in the fields of education, information management, Arts or Sciences or related field; Experience Minimum of (3) years of experience in technical writing and eLearning development. Has experiences in write and edit technical documentation such as user manuals, help guides, API documentation, and release notes. Experiences incCreate eLearning materials, including video tutorials, interactive simulations, and assessments. Design and develop online learning courses using authoring tools such as iSpring, Articulate Storyline, and Adobe Captivate. Review and update existing technical documentation and eLearning materials to ensure accuracy and relevance. Manage the document repository and ensure the documentation is accessible and up to date. Soft skills Understanding of the UN cluster/sector system and how it operates.
