NBI operates a modern core banking system to support its growth and customer services. Capital Bank and its subsidiaries audit all accounts through Ernst and Young, and report financials in accordance with International Accounting Standards.
NBI has earned a BB rating by Capital Intelligence, the international credit rating agency. It further received a ‘Good’ rating by the Central Bank of Iraq.
Today, NBI has 18 branches in all major cities in Iraq.

Job Description



Job Title: Auditor
Location: Baghdad, Iraq

Key Responsibilities:



Documentation Verification: Ensure that the bank’s documents and records are securely stored and that their circulation complies with the established policies and instructions. Audit various records and files used in all departments and branches to verify the accuracy of the data and that documentation processes follow established procedures.
Audit Execution: Perform audit tasks assigned by the Senior Auditor according to approved audit programs.
Audit Documentation: Prepare audit notes and document them with the necessary documents, presenting them to the Senior Auditor/Audit Supervisor for review and approval.
Audit File Preparation: Prepare a work paper file to document audit activities, results, and recommendations.
Preliminary Report Preparation: Assist in preparing a draft preliminary audit report for review by the direct supervisor (Audit Supervisor/Senior Auditor/Audit Manager).
System Evaluation: Participate in evaluating new systems in the bank to verify the adequacy and effectiveness of the control systems and provide recommendations.

Qualifications



Qualifications:



Education and Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Financial and Banking Sciences, Finance, or equivalent.
0 - 2 years of experience in a similar role.
