Job Description

The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR professional who possesses strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of labor laws in Iraq, and a strategic approach to managing human resources in a fast-paced and evolving environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • HR Strategy and Development: Build and implement HR policies and procedures from scratch in alignment with company goals and compliance with Iraq's labor laws.


  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a growing HR team , ensuring high performance, engagement, and development.


  • Recruitment and Talent Management: Oversee the recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring we attract and retain top talent. Develop strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.


  • Compliance and Legal: Ensure the company is in full compliance with Iraq’s labor laws and regulations, and advise leadership on legal and ethical HR practices.


  • Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management systems to evaluate, recognize, and improve employee performance and development.


  • Employee Relations: Foster positive employee relations by providing guidance on employee issues, resolving conflicts, and creating a supportive work environment.


  • HR Reporting and Analytics: Monitor key HR metrics and provide reports to senior leadership, ensuring data-driven decisions regarding talent management, turnover, and performance.


Key Requirements:
  • Experience: 10 - 15 years of experience in HR management, with a proven ability to build HR functions from the ground up.


  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with experience managing a team and driving HR initiatives across diverse functions.


  • Knowledge of Iraq’s Labor Laws: In-depth understanding of Iraq’s labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.


  • Qualifications: A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification is a plus.


  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in [English/Iraqi Arabic/Other Languages].


  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle sensitive employee-related matters with discretion.
