General Accountant

Job Overview:
Sama Al-Fayhaa is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our finance team. The General Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records and ensuring that accounting practices comply with regulatory standards. This role requires a thorough understanding of accounting principles and excellent analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
• Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Oversee general ledger operations and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, providing analysis and insights as needed.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding financial protocols.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and systems.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in financial planning activities.
• Stay updated on accounting standards and changes in financial regulations.
