Job Description
The primary responsibility of this role is to offer technical assistance in drawing production work such as analysis, review designs, training teams, inspect optic network design, topology layout, fiber splice plans, and cable duct and routing.
Job Duties:
- FTTH Network Design and Validation:
- Reviewing FTTH design drawings and plans, and validating their fitness to business needs.
- Conducting tests to determine the physical properties of FTTH network, such as power losses and cuts.
- Evaluating the risks surrounding all FTTH design, deployment, and operation phases, and suggest the solution to mitigate these risks.
- FTTH Network Operations and Maintenance:
- Reviewing the procedures deployed to maintaining FTTH network and the equipment used to deploy fiber network.
- Evaluating and selecting new equipment that could improve efficiency or safety in the deployment and operation phases.
- Proactively identifies potential risks related to the process followed and services offered.
- Process Improvement and Quality Assurance:
- Applying statistical tools and analytical tools to come up with findings related to process improvement.
- Reviewing and reporting findings if quality process is not followed in the organization processes.
- Evaluating the adequacy of bench marking implementation across the organization.
- Fiber Devices and Solutions:
- Serving as the go-to expert on fiber devices and solutions, providing technical support to internal teams and external customers.
- Developing a deep understanding of the company's fiber devices and solutions, staying up-to-date on new products and features.
- Assisting customers with technical inquiries, troubleshooting, and solution recommendations related to fiber devices.
- Collaborating with customers to design customized fiber solutions that meet their specific requirements and technical specifications.
