Job Description
- Oversee and manage all operations and matters related to Finance department.
- Develop and manage key relationships with respective division heads and senior managers to provide financial support and understanding of short and long-term financial plans.
- Monitor budgetary and key performance indicator movements.
- Ensure to liaise with the company auditors and regulators.
- Responsible for all financial and accounting functions of the organization
- To ensure effective implementation of all Materials Policies & Procedures following local. legislation, whilst maintaining Accor Standards in Materials Management
- Lead in the development and implementation of benchmarking techniques that will enable the divisions at the hotel to enhance revenues while improving productivity and cost efficiencies
- Promote, drive and maximize the GOP Theoretical Flow Through concept ac at the hotel.
- Ensure to manage the development of accounting admissions, credit/collections and internal control policies
- Ensure all statutory compliances, permissions and licenses are in place and renewed in time.
- Supervise the functioning of the Procurement department.
Qualifications
- Accounting Designation, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience. CPA or MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive work-related experience in multiple areas of accounting/Finance.
- Demonstrated experience with accounting system or similar financial software for the purpose of financial reporting, analysis, and presentation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of finance, budgeting, and accounting processes and regulations, along with demonstrated knowledge of capital projects management standards and techniques and GAAP regulations and procedures.
- Fluent in Microsoft Window applications and relevant computer applications.
- Highly responsible & reliable with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to focus attention on owner & guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
- Pre-opening experience is preferred
