Chemistry and Biology Teacher (AP Experience Preferred)

The Chemistry and Biology Teacher position at our esteemed institution in Erbil, Iraq, offers an exciting opportunity for passionate educators to inspire the next generation of scientists. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum standards for chemistry and biology.
  • Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations to enhance students' understanding of scientific concepts.
  • Assess and evaluate student performance through various methods, including tests, quizzes, and projects.
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to students to help them achieve their academic goals.

Preferred Candidate:

  • Strong educational background in chemistry and biology, preferably with a degree in a related field.
  • Experience teaching at the secondary school level, focusing on chemistry and biology.
  • Experience in preparing students for the American AP exam in chemistry and biology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and parents.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
