Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Assistant Director of Talent and Culture to join our team in Baghdad, Iraq. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for driving our organization's talent management strategies and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture.


  • Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition, retention, and development strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement
  • Design and oversee employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace satisfaction and productivity
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and address organizational culture needs and challenges
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategy
  • Oversee the development and implementation of performance management processes
  • Ensure compliance with Iraqi labor laws and regulations while promoting best practices in HR management
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization
  • Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and consultants to support talent and culture initiatives
  • Continuously assess and improve HR policies, procedures, and programs to enhance organizational effectiveness

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in HR management or talent acquisition, with a proven track record of success
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in HR management systems and talent acquisition tools
  • Experience in developing and implementing talent management strategies and employee engagement initiatives
  • Knowledge of Iraqi labor laws and regulations
