Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Director of Food and Beverage to join our team in Baghdad, Iraq. This key leadership role will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving profitability.


  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of food and beverage operations, including restaurants, room service, and banquet facilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue
  • Oversee menu planning, pricing, and cost control measures in collaboration with the Executive Chef
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of food and beverage professionals
  • Analyze financial data, prepare budgets, and manage department expenses
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively
  • Implement innovative marketing initiatives to promote food and beverage outlets
  • Stay current with industry trends and incorporate best practices into operations
  • Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the overall success of the hotel

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a luxury or five-star hotel setting
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations and food and beverage service standards
  • Excellent financial management and budgeting skills
  • Advanced knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on efficiency and organization
  • Goal-oriented with a proven ability to drive results and meet targets
