AccountantSector: Business ServicesMain Duties and Responsibilities: Withdraw & Deposit cash from bank to another and keep bank accounts reconciled and up to dated continuously. Collect payments by accepting cash, check from customers, clients and stakeholders. Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers, clients and stakeholders. Balance cash drawer and manage to balance and follow up the intermediate accounts on monthly bases. Keeping track on petty cash available in the safe regularly to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate balance to cover daily expenses. Manage office prepaid expenses, such as (electricity, fuel, Services, online expenditure ... etc.). Maintaining the company’s accounting files properly both in hard and soft copies including archiving documents. Accurately record and process invoices, payments, receipts, and other financial transactions. Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable. Perform bank and credit card reconciliations on a regular basis. Reconcile discrepancies by checking accounting system outputs and comparing with source documents. Maintain organized records of financial transactions by establishing and maintaining accounts. Input accurate data into the company's accounting software. Help with month-end and year-end closing procedures. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audits. Issuing payment request forms and ensure accuracy and timely payments, when requested. Requirements: Academic / Professional Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent. Years of experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting. Language Qualifications: Fluent in English and Kurdish, Arabic is a plus. Computer and soft ware skills: Computer Operating Systems & Microsoft office programs. Knowledge and experience of operating QuickBooks is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to determine work priorities. Detail oriented. Has good knowledge and upadted about the related laws and regulations. Team-player. Working Conditions:Office Based - 5 days/week, 8hrs/day.
