Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct security assessments of systems, applications, and infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and potential risks.
  • Perform penetration testing to identify and address security weaknesses.
  • Develop attack scenarios, perform tests, and compile reports with findings and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide guidance on enhancing security practices and protocols.
  • Stay informed about emerging security threats and vulnerabilities, advising on necessary preventative measures.

Skills

Qualification Requirements:

  • Experience in conducting security assessments and penetration testing on web applications, software, networks, or infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as OWASP and knowledge of common attack vectors and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using or willingness to learn penetration and exploitation tools such as Metasploit, Nmap, or Burp Suite.
  • Programming skills to develop and automate attack tools and scripts are a plus.
  • Ability to compile clear reports on security findings, including remediation recommendations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing security challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
