General Summary:
At Qualcomm XR Research, we develop state-of-the-art XR technologies to enable exceptional AR/VR/MR experiences for users.
We are seeking a highly skilled XR Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our XR systems through comprehensive testing and analysis. This role involves a combination of test automation, KPI development, UX testing, anchor testing, and reporting. The candidate will also engage in discussions with stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity on testing objectives and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement test automation strategies for XR systems.
Create and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for various testing processes.
Conduct User Experience (UX) testing to ensure optimal user interaction with XR systems.
Perform anchor testing and develop anchor KPIs to measure system stability and accuracy.
Generate detailed reports on testing outcomes and present findings to stakeholders.
Collaborate with stakeholders to discuss testing requirements, progress, and results.
Required Qualifications:
Experience in testing XR/SLAM/VIO systems. Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks.
Knowledge of KPI development and monitoring. Background in UX testing focused on XR devices.
Good knowledge of computer vision systems and their role in XR.
Strong mathematical and analytical skill
Exposure to multi-sensor data fusion techniques and their implementation.
Strong communication skills to effectively discuss testing results with stakeholders.
Education and experience:
Required: Bachelor’s in computer science or electrical & computer engineering with at least 7+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred: Master’s in computer science or electrical & computer engineering with at least 6+ years of relevant experience.
