Job Summary: 


The Workplace space delivery lead would be part of occupancy planning team and mainly responsible for driving occupancy statistics and metrics across all locations in India.


Core responsibilities include Space planning, Demand and Supply Management, infrastructure management and Workplace initiatives. Added responsibilities are to oversee reporting, manage portfolio optimization and moderate technology developments for space planning tool


Through strong governance capabilities and collaborative skills, one must work closely with internal team and external stakeholders to meet both tactical and strategic objectives

  • Growth- Maintain a rolling forecast in line with space demand and ensure space just in time space availability
  • Deliver Centralized model of delivery. People and location independent service delivery
  • Innovate to simplify by keeping end user at the core. Bring efficiencies through plan by Process Re-engineering, Tools & Technology.
  • Manage through unbiased approach with high integrity to space planning guidelines. Compliance to tax zones through effective governance, Internal team and vendor staff
  • Ownership - Efficient, accurate and timely reporting for daily/weekly reports. Strict governance on chargeability and area statement reports.
  • Process Improvement- Identify scope for improvements and standardize processes and service delivery through technology and bringing in industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:


Centralized occupancy planning – Efficiently Plan & assign tasks to the transactions team through bandwidth analysis and track for completion. Ensure zero production impact.


Prepare and maintain forecast with special focus on secured bay demands and mitigations actions.


Escalate and solve for any supply issues related to complex demands with business operations.


Prepare and maintain 90 days allocation & release forecast with special focus on secured bay demands and mitigations actions.


Space Planning – Develop space plans in-line with the needs and requirements of the project. Understand larger impact to organization and consider future space outcomes when creating a solution. Proactively strategize and assess space impacts of current and future business requirements


Govern and be in control of space inventory - Ensure data reconciliation activity between databases is carried out periodically; Demand numbers, One way supply transfers, Seat losses, Supply synergies are accurately tracked and reported for Area statement


Program management – Undertake program management responsibilities of initiatives within workplace and oversee successful execution from all aspects. Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth transition and operations.


Constantly monitor the occupancy levels of all spaces to assess the effectiveness of space utilization plans and proactively submit optimization strategies.


Implement technology solutions to enhance user experience, utilization tracking and process improvements


Collaborate extensively with various stakeholders within and outside of Workplace function for alignment on space plans


Undertake all activities of space planning, assignment, tool changes and query management whenever needed.


Engage team members in the process of utilization improvement initiatives and support them on all opportunities

Relationships                : Business Stakeholders, Market Leads, Workplace Stakeholders, Real-Estate (CRE), Global Asset Protection (GAP), GS finance, Busines Finance, Workplace Projects, Managed Services, Logistics, Controllership, Legal, ISA, HR and CIO

Qualifications and Experience


  • At least 10-12 years of overall experience with last 3+ years in mid/senior management role in a large international organization
