Job Summary:
The Workday HR Expert is responsible for the implementation, configuration, and ongoing management of the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. This role involves collaborating with HR stakeholders to ensure that the system meets organizational needs, streamlining HR processes, ensuring data integrity, and providing end-user support and training.
Software Requirements:
- Extensive experience with Workday HCM (3+ years preferred)
- Strong understanding of HR processes, policies, and compliance regulations
- Proficiency in Workday modules (e.g., Core HR, Recruiting, Talent Management, Compensation, Learning, etc.)
- Familiarity with data management and security configurations
- Experience with reporting and analytics tools within Workday
Overall Responsibilities:
System Implementation and Configuration:
- Lead or support Workday HCM implementation projects
- Configure Workday modules according to business requirements
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure accurate functionality
Data Management:
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the Workday system
- Oversee data imports and exports, including employee data and reporting requirements
- Manage data security configurations to protect sensitive information
User Support and Training:
- Provide training to HR staff and end-users on Workday functionalities and processes
- Serve as a point of contact for user inquiries and troubleshoot system issues
- Develop user guides and training materials
Process Optimization:
- Analyze current HR processes and identify areas for improvement using Workday capabilities
- Collaborate with HR leadership to design and implement efficient workflows
- Monitor and report on system performance and user engagement
Reporting and Analytics:
- Create and maintain custom reports and dashboards to support HR operations and decision-making
- Utilize Workday's reporting tools to provide insights into workforce metrics and trends
Collaboration with IT and Vendors:
- Work with IT teams to integrate Workday with other enterprise systems
- Liaise with Workday support and vendors to resolve technical issues and stay updated on new features
Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure Workday configurations adhere to legal and organizational compliance standards
- Stay current on HR best practices and Workday updates to leverage new functionalities

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Extensive experience with Workday HCM (3+ years preferred)
- Workday certification (e.g., Workday HCM, Workday Reporting) preferred
- Experience in project management methodologies preferred
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques preferred
