General Summary:
As an Engineer in the WLAN HALPHY SYSTEMS TEST Group, you will be understanding features closer to WIFI HW, designing and developing unit test casesforfunctional aspects of WLAN features as described in WLAN IEEE802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be protocols. You willneedto develop new test plansforupcoming features and improve test plans of existing features by understanding them. You will be working on cutting edge WiFi technologies, by validating them, and by signing off the cadence or chipset release to customersformass production of router products. You will also be involved in automation of various tests to quickly check on multiple features in a shorter time.
Skills/Experience:
- At least 2-5 years of relevant hands-on technical experience in testing.
- Must be capable of analyzing new feature, creating test plans, and adding new test cases to existing features.
- Good experience in white box testing
- Posses high debugging capability
- Programming knowledge in Python and other scripting tools.
- RF level knowledge is a plus
- Experience in Wireless LAN protocols is a BIG plus
- Strong logical and analytical thinking
- Must be self-driven
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Educational Requirements:
BE/BTech/MTech in Computer Science or in Electronics preferred with proven success in a challenging academic program
Hands on Experience on below areas is added advantage:
WLAN IEEE802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax Test experience
Strong Wireless & Wired Networking Fundamentals
Programming capabilities
Skills:
Addition Experience in below are preferable:
1) Bug Tracking Systems
2) Project Management
