About the Role:
Design and launch new websites using AEM.
Update and enhance existing sites within the AEM platform.
Choose and implement templates and components to create a cohesive site structure in AEM.
Construct and organize web pages using editable templates and content fragments in AEM.
Duplicate and maintain the site's information architecture as planned.
Manage content by downloading and uploading files and assets, adhering to guidelines across various content and DAM systems.
Format content correctly within AEM, ensuring adherence to style guides.
Optimize images by resizing them for better performance and visual appeal.
Conduct quality assurance on site pages, checking content, links, browser compatibility, forms, and functionality.
Communicate with the project manager about progress, milestones, and any potential obstacles.
Inform the project manager about missing or incorrect assets or if more guidance is needed.
Follow documented procedures and best practices consistently.
Stay in touch with stakeholders and provide regular status updates.
About You:
4 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Experience with Agile project development.
Proficiency in Adobe AEM content creation.
Exceptional experience with CMS digital authoring, preferably AEM/CQ5, but WordPress or other CMS tools are also valuable.
Strong skills in core content management tasks like formatting, structuring, tagging, linking, and incorporating multimedia.
Familiarity with project management tools like Workfront and Jira is beneficial.
Solid understanding of web standards-based HTML and CSS.
Knowledge of responsive web design principles.
Ability to optimize images using Photoshop.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with QA and automation scripting using Java and Selenium is a plus.
Familiarity with web authoring tools like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver, or Homesite.
A keen interest in technology and creativity.
Understanding of SEO concepts and their application.
Awareness of best practices in user experience design.
