As a Product Owner on the ConnectWealth Product team, you will act on behalf of the business, operations, and our clients to support LatAm & Global Family Group (GFG)’s strategic platform initiatives.
The role is uniquely positioned with exposures to the strategic transformation of International Private Bank and US Private Bank platforms.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to analyzing large datasets and workflow processes, evaluating viable process alternatives, and development and documentation of business and functional requirements for the resulting solution.
You will also support and participate in design, development, testing, and implementation of requirements throughout their lifecycle to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
The role requires the ability to deal with complex business challenges, tight deadlines, competing priorities and interaction with the senior product partners across EMEA and US.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop business requirements through partnership with various stakeholders including business management teams, design teams, technology, operations, legal, and compliance partners
- Document business requirements in Epic/Story format within JIRA
- Refine leading stories and grooming sessions with Tech partners
- Partner with UAT testing test to provide support in conditioning of acceptance criteria uses cases and providing product support during testing
- Focus on Analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to identify common needs and improve processes for both the customer and the business on global basis
- Understand of regulatory/legal landscape related to the investment product process; Ability to work audit, compliance and regulatory constituencies to manage work in accordance with established procedures and relevant regulations and laws; demonstrated accountability for work process and the associate risks and controls; demonstrated ability to raise issues to relevant stakeholders or management with respect to the control environment
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
- Mnimum 5 years of prior experience in financial services industry, in wealth management or investments organizations
- Experience in project management, management consulting, change management supporting large scale business and technology initiatives. Strong issue resolution/and problem-solving abilities
- Must be highly disciplined, a self-starter and quick learner, and capable of executing assignments independently and autonomously
- Strong systems, operational and control analysis skills
- Working experience in Agile and Waterfall Methodologies with ability to adapt to hybrid practices
- Confident communicator with ability to provide clear and succinct verbal and written updates for all levels of the organization
- Ability to quickly build relationships and influence colleagues, technical and functional partners
- Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with multiple teams, coordinating across different cross-functional initiatives, and reaching consensus with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to synthesize information to reach logical conclusions & present findings
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
- Experience with scripting languages and/or data analysis tools like SAS and Python
- Experience with digital transformation and fintech integration in Asset and Wealth Management
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and methodologies
- Experience with emerging technologies in finance
- Experience with and/or prior collaboration with Sales, Legal and Compliance, Operations and Technology
